Hickory-Smoked Maple Manhattan

Indulge in the robust sophistication of the Hickory-Smoked Maple Manhattan. This velvety blend of bourbon, sweet vermouth, and smoky hickory, accented with a touch of maple, delivers a uniquely flavorful and aromatic twist to the classic Manhattan cocktail.




  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey

  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth

  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

  • Hickory Wood Chips

  • Maple Syrup

  • Luxardo Cherry (for garnish)




  1. Place a pinch of hickory wood chips in the smoker and ignite.

  2. Smoke the inside of a chilled cocktail glass with the hickory wood smoke.

  3. In a mixing glass, combine the rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, and bitters with ice.

  4. Stir until well chilled.

  5. Strain the cocktail into the smoked glass.

  6. Drizzle a small amount of maple syrup over the cocktail.

  7. Garnish with a Luxardo cherry.
